Likely to be arena shows? Hoping my wife can come and see you live at last - would love her to see you up close though rather than an arena. Do you know if you are doing any warm up show(s) for Reading/Leeds a la Darlington last year?

He was doing places like Bristol Academy in 2010 so I'd be surprised if that size of venue are still on the list for this tour (unless it was a REALLY extensive tour). Just guessing....

I suppose the difference is that in 2010 the Academy would sell out in about 2 months - now it sells out in 2 minutes!

that's a fair point, however most arena's in big cities are well in excess of 10k, such a massive difference from 2-3k academies

Resurrecting purely to ask as to wether I would be safe to squander the last of my cash on booze and unsuitable men (and dresses and bags) over next weekend (before pay day) or should I should save a little for something ticket-y.

Im thinking (and hoping) that I'll be fine to spend away

Speculation welcome

to be fair it was a pretty informed guess as most bands wait until after festival season :)
"Most people keep going 'oh, I guess you decided to not tour in the UK anymore?' and it's like 'don't be ridiculous, of course I'm going to tour in the UK',
who is this most people?

Given the shit I see he gets on Twitter and Facebook, I'm pretty sure they are not only real but legion. And that's just what's public. His e-mail must be a sucking black hole some days.
