Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi, I'm Kris from NYC. Just saw Frank and the Souls live for the first time at Bonnaroo! Great set, and can't wait to see the show again back home in Brooklyn next month!
Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi everyone. I got into Frank's music around Poetry of the Deed and have seen him live many times since including Wolverhampton, Cambridge and London! I'm looking forward to chatting about Frank's music and this seems like a friendly place to do just that.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hey!
My name is Pete, I'm probably one of the 'older ones' who post here (im 38!). I have been going to shows for around 20 years now but my first experience of Frank was in Peterborough a few years back (about 6 I think) when he was supported by Jonah Matranga and Jacob Golden, who were also awesome I may add!
I have just started taking guitar lessons! (random fact).
So............. Hello it is then!

Hi!
My name is Jenn & I'm from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US. I am an "older" fan as well (I'm 38, too, Pete), but fairly new to Frank's music. I was a goner from the very first time I heard him & now I'm completely obsessed. Cannot wait to see him again in Madison next month!!

Hi, I'm Sarah....no surprise there!
I live near Stansted airport, so cups of tea and sympathy for delayed flights a possibility.
Just woke up to how brilliant ft is, but am already a big fan.
Oh and I am ancient, wrong side of 40, disabled and own a cat...so definitely not a hipster! But an original punk!!!

Hi, I'm Nancy and I'm a Frankaholic. I got hooked when I saw an In Sessions interview by Nic Harcourt on tv and I'm even older than the ones who think they're "older" fans.....just proves this music is for everybody.
Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi gang,
I'm a newbie (just found Frank in the last 3 months thanks to an enterprising mainstream radio DJ here in Los Angeles). While some of you "older fans" have a few years on me, I'll be 30 this year and have started to notice I'm among the oldest at many shows I attend.
When did that happen?
In any case, I'm quite excited to see Frank for the first time in October and I've been quite busy converting all my friends and students (I teach high school). Rock on, crew!

Oh hi,
I'm Mel. I'm an American expat who lives in Sydney, a 44 year old law student (yeah, I know right?) and a newish appreciator of Frank's music.
Good ta meetcha!

My name is Kathrin, I'm from germany.
I've got a mix CD from a friend for Christmas 2011 . He made me a 'New Jersey'- CD with The Bouncing Souls, Gaslight Anthem, Streetlight Manifesto ....
I liked The Bouncing Souls, bought a few of their CDs, came across Dave Hause and his 'Resolutions' and finally saw a youtube clip from Dave Hause and Frank Turner. I bought Tape Deck Heart and a few of the other CDs and here I am.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi all,
I'm Kelly! I'm 25 and from Toronto, Canada. Am a relative FTHC newcomer (only found out about the gloriousness after watching his Conan performance in 2012), but I caught up very quickly thanks to iTunes, Youtube, and kind folks I have met both online and in person (thanks, all!). Listening to Frank, in turn, has then led me to all of the other glorious bands from XMR, as has been the experience with a lot of folks, I'm sure.
Specifically joined this forum at this time to tell EVERYONE (especially international folk) how QUICKLY the merch arrives, and to rejoice in its accuracy! For real. Have had terrible luck in the past with stuff from the UK, for whatever reason...but this was less than a week in terms of turnover.
