Well done that ^^^ man
Listening to Her Name Is Calla - The Heritage EP/mini album
I bought one of the 20 copies that came with a cassette tape - the CD arrived last week, got the tape this morning - had a typed up letter on some weird paper that was addressed personally to me on it with thanks from the band...nice touch!

Same. Was genuinley gutted when they split up...mainly because I didn't get a chance to see them live with a singer. On my last fm MMISL occupy 3 of the top 5 I think...was thinking of chucking them over a myspace message begging for some guitar tabs to a few songs but realised they're probably now holding down full time jobs so I doubt it's something they'd want to do in their free time. Probably end up sounding like a massive mincer too.
What's most saddening is that it's pretty f'ing unlikely that anything similar/as exciting is going to come along any time soon.
If I'm wrong, recommend plz.

i saw them once with toby, it was either before or around the release of the album, not sure. they were playing upstairs at the glasgow barfly with rolo tomassi while my mate's godawful band were playing the considerably larger downstairs to about 10 people. i went upstairs as often as i could... mmisl and rt were both amazing, and although i only got to see about 70-80% of it, it remains one of my favourite gigs.

I've been listening to Maybeshewill on repeat today. Not for a want of trying is epic.
About Meet Me in St Louis, I really miss them as well. I saw them few times, the last time was about 2 weeks before they split, when a friend played an all dayer thing with them. They are unbelievably nice guys as well.
