Lately I've found myself drawn to British authors, commentators, and academics who truly ask "uneasy questions". Douglas Murray's "The Strange Death of Europe" and "The Madness of Crowds" were thought-provoking reads. Similarly, Maajid Nawaz's collaboration with American Sam Harris, "Islam and The Future of Tolerance" really gave me an education in the nuances of Islam. Do you know these guys? They really seem to stick their necks out with respect to the subjects they tackle. Have you explored Christopher Hitchens or George Orwell? All this reading is cutting into my Turner listening time!
Hope to see you in Boston in 2020!
If you have a specific question you want me to get back to, put it here and I'll think about it
