Re when tickets go on sale, I agree it is a massive ballache.

I missed out on the pre sale as I was gossiping to my friends on the school run.

Again at 9am every morning I am either at the school gates or on my way home so I did it all via my phone (still lost out on standing tickets though :( )

I made sure my phone was set to keep me logged in to See on the Friday and had the ticket page for London as a bookmark, Im sure I was judged as a bad mother that morning for booting my daughter through the doors as quickly as possible before focusing on my phone. :D

I hate buying tickets online, especially when they are in high demand and are likely to sell out in a matter of minutes, but it sure beats the days in the 80s and 90s of having to sit on a phone for hours redialing and redialing.

Or hanging outside the record store and rush in the minute it opens haha! Although there´s a charm in that too, those were the days, you´re an "old" one too I see! ;)
I won´t sit down, I won´t shut up and most of all I will not grow up!

I remember having to scroll through pages and pages on teletext to find out who was touring and to get phone numbers when I went to see Deacon Blue tickets back in 1989 and then getting my first Springsteen tickets from a travel agents in 1992 (they were good ones too!) as I was at college and couldn't do the re-dial thing....its a piece of cake these days comparatively!

Any chance of me making a 23.09 train after the Birmingham gig, 7 minute walk away from the academy?

it'll take you way more than 7 mins to get from the Academy to a platform on New Street. Give yourself at least 15 mins if not more.

I'm so jealous of everyone going to these. I can't get there due to stupid transport arrangements!

Still a bit gutted I won't be going to the London show - first London gig I've missed in quite a while.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already -but do we know who is supporting Frank on this tour - Manchester specifically?
Baby Sitter can't get to ours until 7pm so may have to miss them anyway.

So I ended up doing four dates of this tour...

Thanks So much to the people who guided me through cities I have never been to, looked after my bag, helped me take my inhaler, reminded me that eating might not be a bad idea, and for persuading me that just one more gig would be totally fine and worth it - it was :D

to the amazing person who told the drunk idiots playing SHOVE at the Birmingham gig to pack it in - Thanks you are my hero :D There were quite a few people at the barrier who were getting crushed when those lads starting their game, very pleased they got stopped before it got out of hand.

FT fans are the best!

Isn't that generally what being at the barrier entails?

Yes... and no....

a certain amount of crushing is expected as people get carried away and surge forward, but - deliberate body slamming is not on. Broken ribs are never fun, and pushing people over, stomping on them and giggling about it is never acceptable!

One of the things I love about Frank's gigs is that people do appear to be aware of whats going on around them, help people up and take care of them - and remove idiots. The two drunk lads behind us were making a game of knocking people over, and trying to get a "Pressure Wave" of bodies to the front.they were stopped before it got that far.

So - Thanks to the person who got them to stop :D

Once, at Wembley, there was an idiot near the front, behaving idiotically, who wouldn't take the hint, so I grabbed him by the face (no, really) and screamed the whole of I am disappeared at him. It was a strange old night.
