Dammit

Post by Markreed49 » Mon Oct 29, 2012 5:30 am

Do you mind giving us a quick run through on the chords you use to play it? I saw a video of you covering it somewhere and didn't think I'd ever hear you play it again, but you did tonight, which was awesome. Great show by the way!

yeah, it's basically D / A / Bm / G, but keeping the 2nd fret on the top string and 3rd fret on the B string ringing through. capo position changes depending on what quadrant the moon is in (or something).

The fact you cover this song leads me to thinking you have been or are a fan of Blink 182.

just curious of your opinion of them, I've always been a huge fan and they were probably the first 'real' band i listened to which has led to the music i listen to today. Also, have you met Mark, Tom or Travis? just wondering seeing as Mark now lives in London so thought you might have crossed paths in the music worl somewhere along the line?

I was really into Dude Ranch when that came out (still love it). Kinda lost the thread with them after that. Not met any of them.

Thanks for the quick response.

See you in Southampton, I'm sure your facial hair should be pretty spectacular by then

Hi! I noticed that since you answered the question on whether you have met any of the blink members that you performed at a festival that they also performed at (I think it was Crash Fest) so I wondered if you met them whilst you were there, if so what was it/what were they like?

Didn't meet any of them, they kept themselves to themselves.

In general, are signs like these common backstage at festivals?

No. That blink182 one is notorious for its utter lameness.

The fact that Dave Hause doesn't have a red carpet everywhere he goes is what I would consider a shame, let alone having to wear a pass.

Good bye blink! Don't know what to think about what's going on right now.
Tom can care for his aliens now and Matt Skibba is a better singer :D

Touring in buses, 1 for each of them... "Talking" via managers, that's not the band I grew up with.
I thought at least Mark was a nice guy.
I hate this place but i love these chords

Never had a better "Try This At Home" as this one time, when you played before Blink in Hamburg. Ha!
