Yeah, I gave the new album one listen I think and it didn't really make me want to return to it, I quite liked TDTT, but it's all about Hours and everything before it. I saw them play just before M&H came out and found their live show to still be up to par, and I'm sure these shows are gonna be really special. I saw them perform as Wake for a Mate back in 2004 at the Underworld which was face meltingly good. Hopefully they'll stick to the EPs as extra tracks. 10 Scene Points To The Winner would be amazing.

I saw FFAF at Reading '03 and they were brilliant. Then saw them at Taste Of Chaos ('04/'05?) and they were utter shit. Gave up on them then.

Went to the Jim Bob gig last night...was great...a few Carter songs thrown in amongst some reading and his own stuff...

Chris T-T has been added to the bill for tonight's show..

So, who's going to the Xtra Mile show(s) this week then?

Can't bloody wait for the show at the Borderline. Quite like that venue. Only hope I can get there from the hospital in time!

Yes - going to the Borderline tomorrow night. Should be great.

I don't know much about Straight Lines - any good?

Fighting Fiction are on at 7:15, and worth seeing I reckon. I have only heard the single, but really like it, so I am looking forward to finally checking them out.

I'm really tempted by this gig as I've been wanting to see The Xcerts for a while. Don't like going to gigs on my own tho.

I shall be going on my own as I have given up ever trying to persuade people to come to gigs with me. Generally run into some familiar faces at
most shows I go to anyway. Guessing you're going then evan?

I shall inevitably be the one at the front taking loads of photos on my rubbish camera in the hope of getting a handful of decent ones. Normally works.

I am going, yes. From the start. More than welcome to join. Both of you.

I heard a rumor than Ben MD is coming too, although he is bringing his fuckwit mate...

We left as Xcerts came on. All In all I was quite let down. I wanted to see Fighting Fiction the band, not just the singer. He didnt even play the fucking single. Annoying.

Crazy Arm was sloppy as anything. The singer guy needs to control his ego and turn down his guitar, as it was all his fault. As soon as he started singing, he playing went out of time, thus killing the song. Plus, why the fuck do you have two guitarists playing exactly the same thing? It was a shame, as I do enjoy them.

Straight Lines on the other hand were excellent. I really really liked them. Not my usual cup of tea, but I was deeply impressed.

I am sure the Xcerts were great, but we wanted to leave as the poor wife is struggling to be out at this point.
