I've only just got the video for this, so I thought I'd share it hear in case anyone was interested/fancied a laugh.

I had a live assessment at Uni back in March. I left it until the last minute and got my backing band back together to help out. This is the result.

I am aware that the levels are a bit off. I'm also aware that the guitar goes out of tune half way through, it was due to restringing a couple of hours before.

Enjoy.

Hey all, I am 17 and live in Tasmania and am part of the Punk band 'Fatty Esther' formed earlier this year. The Punk scene is fairly small and we are trying to get our music out there and I would appreciate it if you could chuck us a like on facebook or at least have a listen :-)

Just got home from playing my first open mic night. I did Reasons (fluffed the start) If ever I stray (which I started with a chorus ffs. No idea why and only one person in the crowd noticed) and then had a bit of a mental moment and played An alien for Christmas by Fountains of Wayne, even though hadn't planned to or really rehearsed it. That went well, strangely enough.
Everyone clapped when I finished and several randoms said they enjoyed it, so it can't have been too bad. Massive adrenaline rush! Can't wait to do it again now!
So if ever a man should ask you for your business or your name, tell him to go and fuck himself and tell his friends to do the same.

I wrote this today because I agreed to play at an open mic night (god knows why haha), and it seemed a bit of a cop out to just do a cover. I'd love some feedback (as long as not too harsh :P) and seemed a bit less scary on here
than Facebook where people actually know who I am! :P and yes, I can't play guitar that well... but a flute concerto didn't seem quite right ;) thanks in advance hehe!
