There is a nice project, mainly in London at the moment called "notes to strangers". (you can find out more about the project here www.andy-leek.com/notes-to-strangers) .

I was inspired to write a song and make a video as my own note to strangers.

It seems to fit with the idea of positive songs for negative people.

I saw one of these notes for the first time the other day ...

They are far nicer than the notes I used to give to people on the train - usually saying ' your music is too loud - everyone else can hear it and it's awful '

I feel it is important to educate people about damaging their ears and blasting Sam Smith out loudly in a carriage of people

The guy originally started it as a way of to try to help strangers that might be having a hard time.

I get far more wound up that is reasonable when I am in a quiet carriage and people are making a noise with their phones. Tutting doesn’t always work. Sometimes words have to be said. I hadn't thought of offering them suggestions on how to improve their listening selections.

Thanks for watching the video. I might record a version with more attitude soon, but the garden shed version gets the idea across. :)
