Love this slightly bizarre song
A 4 year old on a ham radio in Hampshire picking up the last radio transmission of an suddenly enlightened soul on her way to death.
I just cannot work out what is sinking 4000 miles away and why everything christa (?) needs is in the deep blue sea?
Can someone enlighten me?!
Thanks

Re: Silent Key
The capsule of the Challenger crashed into the sea just off the Florida coast. Oxygen reports suggest that that's when the crew died.
The song is a flight of fancy. There were no transmissions during the fall.

Re: Silent Key
Thanks for the article link, Bella! Silent Key is one of my favourite songs, and Terry Pratchett one of my favourite authors.
Fascinating reading the science behind the song.
