And I bought my fourth physical copy on Saturday to complete the set. I think there's definitely something wrong with me!

Having spent ten days listening to the album, I have to say I really like it. I'm still not sure it will overtake the likes of EKMB or LIS on the list of overall favourites, but all I can say is that the songs seem to be taking it in turn to be earworms for the last week, Mittens in particular taking about three or four days to shake (and still getting short flashbacks)! All that from a song I didn't particularly like the first time I heard it played. Despite some not entirely overwhelming reviews, I think it is (largely) a ridiculously feelgood album that gets better (sic) every time I play it.

Really enjoying the bonus acoustic disc. I prefer the acoustic version of Glorious You to the album version.

On an unrelated note... Does anyone find the audience 'woos' in Song for Josh a little annoying? It's still an incredibly moving song, but I feel a little irked by that when I listen to it. I really hope they were 'wooing' to show their appreciation for Josh Burdette and not just so they could hear themselves on the album.

Even though you aren't the greatest role model in this area, I appreciate hearing that!

I even lowered myself to spending money on *spit* iTunes, FFS

I have to admit, as it seems only right to do so, I actually got all mine free. Perks of having a wife who works for Xtra Mile. I would have bought anything I couldn't get anyway, but she did very well and I didn't need to. So hurrah!

I am yet to listen to a single one of them. Have had the MP3s for a while.

Same here. The chorus of the Glorious You album version tends to get on my nerves easily, which makes me skip it a lot. But I'm loving the acoustic version.

The woos in Song For Josh are a little irritating at times but I'm used to people screaming on live versions and making my ears hurt/bleed so I can live with these.

I agree with everyone here. The acoustic disc really is lovely. And after seeing Frank play Glorious You solo in Brighton last week it has become one of my favourite PS4NP tracks.

The album is a lot better than I thought it would be. Apart from Out of Breath and The Angel Islington, I didn't think that much of the new songs that I'd either seen live or had been released before the album was out.

It didn't start off well when I heard how The Angel Islington sounded. I really don't like how it sounds on the album and was rather disappointed when I listened to it. It does get a lot better after that though, luckily. Silent Key is my favourite song on the album, the space theme does make me want to listen to Public Service Broadcasting - A Race For Space afterwards. Although the start of Silent Key does sound like it could be a funky breakdown at the end of Love Forty Down before the final chorus. There isn't that much variation between how the songs sound compared to previous albums.

I have been listening to PS4NP for three weeks now. Mail order took its time so it's back to the record shop for the next one. I absolutely love the album. Have been playing it from start to finish all the time as I think it flows fantastically, although I have hit repeat for 'Demons' since that is my current favourite.
When the album came out I was not overly excited as I knew 10 of the 12 songs already. I had been listening to the Saint Vitus show more than I should have. The versions played during that show however are the acoustic album. The album proper is a different thing altogether. It all sounds fantastically crisp and punchy. If singles were still a thing, every song could be a single. 'Glorious you', 'Mittens' and 'Love forty down' were all fine solo, but the band versions really give the songs a lift.
As for the songs; they are excellent . One of the album reviews apparently said that the songs were not memorable. I totally disagree. There are parts that are so catchy that they keep playing on in my head when I am nowhere near a stereo.
Highlights for me are 'Demons', 'The opening act of spring' (liked that one from the very first time I heard it) and 'Silent key'.
I peeked at setlist.fm and am really happy to see that a very large chunk of the album is being played at the German shows currently happening. I really liked TDH too and was disappointed at the time that not more songs from it made it onto the setlists. I have tickets for some of the November shows. Really looking forward to hearing the album live.

Anyone else find themselves singing "Please forgive me for the things that I have do" to The Opening Act of Spring? Every damn time! Except the last chorus when I finally think I've got it right, and sing "must done" obviously.
