What is the best '...Three Years' compilation?

Now that we have a third rarities collection from Frank, I was wondering which compilation you consider to be the strongest, or which you consider your personal favourite.

I listened to The First Three Years earlier and I think it has to get my vote; in my view it's very cohesive for a compilation, and contains the most great tracks, largely due to the inclusion of the Campfire Punkrock and Real Damage EPs which were both great.

The first half of The Second Three Years is fantastic, given that it includes the Rock and Roll EP tracks and the EKMB bonus tracks, but I don't think the predominantly covers-based second half is quite as strong. That said, the live recording of Last Christmas is fantastic, as is the alternative version of Father's Day from the same show.

I think The Third Three Years has some great moments, but is perhaps not quite as strong as the first two compilations overall. I think this is partially due to the exclusion of some of the stronger TDH-era rarities, such as the TDH bonus tracks. To be fair, though, it's definitely to Frank's credit that he chose to include more unreleased material rather than rehashing songs he knows most fans will already own.

What does everyone else think?

As I said earlier, for me It's Hands Down The Second three Years.

No weak tracks, awesome covers (Thunder Road which still gives me shivers...), Eva Mae and Wanderlust are absolute GEMS, the Rock'n roll EP is great.

That English vibe that keeps percolating through the whole record which started with EKMB is really doing something for me.

Mr. Richard...What a great great track also.

The Second Three Years

I'm really digging the 3TY, but I don't understand why Frank cut some songs (Got A Match, Cat Named Virtute, the TDH b-sides) and included others like the live Dan's Song. It just feels like there's a lot left off.

So it would all fit on one CD. Those songs mentioned are readily available, and were left off in favour of ones that are not or were previously unreleased.
