Take your time Frank. We're really spoiled with all your releasings thus we can't be too demanding.
It's just that we tend to get maybe a bit too impatient with that one as you presented it as your most spontanuous, fast and "almost live-recorded" record.
We recorded the whole thing in 9 days, very few overdubs, almost no edits of any kind. The mix is taking a little longer than planned.

Thematically speaking, would it be right to say that this oncoming one is the following of TDH?

Considering that the latter was dealing with heartbreaks, past issues and so on and the former seems to be about the rebound journey and dusting yourself off...

To be honest, we can't really complain about holding out for the new album when Frank's given us a book to keep us entertained while we wait (and most likely given himself RSI through seemingly signing 14 gazillion copies of the same . . .)

Very excited for both.

Uh, kind of, but it's more just a case of that's what's been going on in my life. Theme makes it sound more planned than it is, haha.
Shows? All of em.

Single? Or something completely unrelated?

I have a feeling we'll have the answer in no time.

Get Better is IMMENSE.

I was caught off guard at the beginning of the song because I wasn't expecting it to begin that way (starting right of the bat with the singing) but It's definitly massive.

...And If you follow the logic of this lyric video, the new album is called "Not Dead yet" haha..

I fell in love with that song, when I heard it for the first time at a gig last summer. I'm soooooo happy that it's the first single. Great lyrics, great sound. Very cool video. LOVE IT

I really like the song, like the lyrics, guitars and vocals sound fantastic. Nigel's drums sound really different though. Obviously Frank has said a few times that he was going for a more raw sound and they recorded it live, but it is a real contrast from the really rich and crisp production of EKMB and TDH. Can't hear any acoustic guitar on this track? It definitely sounds a lot closer to what you get at a Frank gig which is no bad thing at all. All in all - fucking brilliant

Nice catch. I totally missed that. Distracted by the fantastic song and the handwriting. And Frank with combed hair.

Had the opportunity to hear some of the new songs live this past few weeks. So good! Get Better, The Next Storm, Out of Breath could be awesome singles. Heard Silent Key for the first time. For me there is a huge emotional connection, so it hit me like a ton of bricks. Loved the sound of Get Better on the video.I am beyond excited about this album! Then tour dates.....Good times ahead!

Priceless!
Unless of course it really is the weirdest concept album ever. That'd just stink.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

Yeah, me neither. Which I actually really like. To me this feels like a pretty big leap from the rest of Frank’s stuff. It will be interesting to see if this changes his live sound at all. Wonder if we’ll get to see him playing electric at all...?

He played his electric on both big cruise shows. He played for Get Better and Out of Breath, and maybe more, I'm not certain. They sounded GREAT live with the electric. The next tour is going to be amazing!
