Your least favorite FT song

Post by NotTheInkfish » Wed Aug 13, 2014 11:52 pm

Now of course they are all great, but there has to be one that is just a little less great right?

+1. Not a Sunday school teacher, I've just heard it enough times. The only one I regularly skip when I'm playing albums.

Sons of Liberty is in second place.

Decent Cup Of Tea and Hold Your Tongue.

Both of which came up on shuffle the other day. I was only about 10 tracks in out of about 4000 so it wasn't like there wasn't plenty to choose from.

Also don't like Sunday Nights.

I haven't included my least favourite FT songs in my playlists, so I don't even remember which one I'd like least. From the newer ones (like Tape Deck Heart, which I've still got on my iPod as a whole) I usually skip "Broken Piano". Blasphemy, I know :D, but the song is not doing anything for me. At all!

I'm torn on "Glory Hallelujah", It's the only song I don't feel comfortable to sing along to and as I hadn't considered myself overly religious I was surprised how weird I felt at my first concert to stand in a crowd singing it from the top of the lungs. Regardless of that, it IS a great song, music and lyrics-wise, in the sense that Frank is getting his point across (Is that even the right term to use in English?)

I try to pull out my whole FT collection and listen to it every once in a while and I'm always surprised to then find songs, which I didn't like much at first and thus disregared at first, which are actually very good songs which at a later time I could appreciate after all.

That's cheating. You can't pick that one.

And the alternative is the original of Wham, and do you really want that?
