You know what Joni Mitchell song I would LOVE to hear him cover is Case of You. His voice would be phenomenal on that song. The only person I've ever heard cover it is Diana Krall, and she's got a pretty low voice for a female. Would love to hear Frank's take on it.

wow - just listened to that (I'm wide awake at 02.30 an no sign of sleep... went to see Frightened Rabbit who were awesome!) I totally get why you would want Frank to cover that. Mmmmmm yep - I can kinda hear what that might be like.

There's an Irish singer called Pauline Scanlon who has recorded a lovely cover version of 'A case of you'.

Bella,

Frank is going to keep you on your toes this NA tour. He tries to find a band/singer from the town he is in and sing a cover. His REM cover of Rockville for Atlanta was the best. He was pretty stuck in Orlando when n'Synch was all he could come up with. Rambling Man by the Allman Brothers was definitely a different sound.

Have fun updating!
shows? 62 so far

:D

doing my best to keep up... added these into the list

Brick by Ben Folds Five
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONLpoMGgrww

(Don't Go Back To) Rockville by R.E.M.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgf45qqZ1B4

Ramblin' Man by Allman Brothers
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg5G35gW8Gs

loving listening to the covers, as much for the intrest in what he chooses, as to how it sounds to hear him sing it - and of course checking out anything/anyone I wasn't aware of before I heard these

I still think Frank's versions are often as good as the orginals (in some cases I prefer Franks version)

Thanks Bella. This is a brilliant thread.
I think "Constructive summer" is my favourite one out of the new batch. And "To live's to fly".

Oh my goodness. Awesome. She's my favorite and he's my favorite and he picked her for his regional Buffalo cover and that's all my favorite things in one place! That was a perfect song for him too, he could have written it.

Turn the Page! Is it on Youtube?

One of my favourite songs and one that would suit Frank to sing to a T.
