Song Frank Dedicated to his Father

Post by sarnoldesign » Sun Aug 02, 2015 9:42 pm

Hey,
I was at T in the Park in 2012 and Frank dedicated a song to his father, and to the people in the audience who had recently lost family members. Anyone know what that song was?

My guess would be Fathers Day

Sorry to dispute but I have never dedicated a song to my father, ever.
Shows? All of em.

Did seem a strange question...especially as a first post??

Wonder if it was a genuinely mistaken heard thing?

I was at the Cambridge Folk Festival over the weekend and saw the excellent Chris Smither, who also has a song called 'Father's Day' which he played. Nice anecdote with it too. Written from an older songwriter's perspective.
