I had the pleasure of seeing you live last September at Leicester's De Montford Hall. Amongst many highlights of the set, one of them for me was one of the new songs you played, Little Aphrodite. I learnt by seeing your Hereford setlist however, that it's not going to appear on the new album.Obviously you feel that it's not up to scratch or doesn't fit the album's philosophy, I was just wondering if it would feature on, or if the album features at all, the substantial sort of bonus tracks that Tape Deck Heart had? It would be wonderful to hear a studio version at some point. Good luck on the new record anyway, I scour the internet every day for sheer hope of a release date!

I recently discovered this song on a Flagstaff live video and I fell instantly in love with it. I mean by hearing just this footage, I'd say this song has the potential to feature in my all time top ten favorite FT tracks.

Thematically speaking, is it relevant to say that it'd have fitted PSFNP a bit more accurately than Mittens - which is absolutely beautiful by the way - but which leads me to the question about a positiveness in Mittens that i'm failing to see...?

ps : I'd have been awesome to have the first part of this love story - Little aphrodite - on the record also, but maybe you felt like It wasn't good enough or didn't fit well?

I think Mittens isn't positive in itself, but it's about surviving to get through the aftermath of a bad relationship, and I'd say "survival" is a major theme of PSFNP from what I've heard thus far...

Well ,ok, thus every songs in Tape deck heart can be viewed that way.
