Elvis' birthday

Hi Frank

Are you a fan?

Have you covered any Presley No's?

The only mention I'm aware of is in 'I Still Believe'

Amy worked in a bar in Exeter, Springsteen came clear in my headphones - Frank, did you write these lyrics for me?

I wouldn't count myself as a massive fan, but I'm certainly intrigued, not least because of Nick Cave's mentions. Reading up more at the moment actually.
Shows? All of em.

I think purely voice-wise Elvis was one of the best singers ever.

I don't really know much about Elvis, but such is his fame, I can easily bring his voice up in my head. For example, I was listening to an interview with Dolly Parton about her song "I will always love you". Some guy at the record label really, really, pushed for Elvis to have the song but Parton didn't want to lose performing royalties on an unreleased song. Even though I'm not a fan of Elvis, and he hasn't ever recorded the track, I can still hear him sing it. Almost makes me want to dig deeper, not quite, but almost.
