Mongol Horde in Brighton?

Post by jonnyofthemagi » Wed May 14, 2014 10:37 am

So I was in Brighton yesterday and by the station I see a sticker on some drainpipe with the the Mongol Horde skull and swords emblem on it and below the date 26/08/14. Was in a rush to catch the train so couldn't take a picture :x I'm not even 100% sure it was 2014 on the date for all I know it's an extremely old sticker for when you played Reading in 2012  but it did look pretty clean/new. Anyways was just wondering if this is a hint for something coming soon (I hope!) or just an old sticker.

This reads as if you think Frank is out there putting these up himself.

He is - it's what he does when he's not on tour. He's like a cat claiming his territory.

I pretty much just meant it may be a release date/ may be a tour date. So I'd be keeping a look out to see if the date was different anywhere else.

Who knows? It's probably some elaborate joke to which the punchline will be a picture of Dawson's penis or something.

That would make an 'interesting*' album cover.

Band members members all lined up in a row.

Probably something the RHCPs have already done no doubt.

*interesting may not be the right word.

That would be awful. Just awful. I have no desire to see any of those guys in the "socks on cocks" pose.

Are you sure it said 26/08/14 and not 26/05/14?

I'm really not 100% sure I'm afraid, think it was 08 though, I keep kicking myself for not taking a picture. What's significant about 26/05/14?
