This is the first guitar song I've ever learned! Hurrah! Thanks for your help.

G/D/G, G/D/C, G/D/G/B7/Em, C/D.

G/D/G, G/D/C, G/D/G/B7/Em, C/D/C/G.

Sounds right to me.

I spent an hour last night playing along to Frank songs on guitar. T'was fun, and I was able to conclude that he knows more chords than me.

To be fair, I'm a bassist primarily...(which is as everyone knows code for 'failed guitarist')

I don't know if it's okay to bump this, if not I'm sorry, but I have a few requests and this is probably the only place I might get help.

Has anyone tabbed Better Half, A Love Worth Keeping, or Front Crawl?

Better Half and Front Crawl have tabs on ultimateguitar, but I'm not entirely sure if they're correct. I've never seen anyone even attempt A Love Worth Keeping.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Front Crawl tab is almost definitely correct.

I met frank last night and asked him to show me the chords to the middle section of After The Rush Hour (He had his guitar out anyway as he'd just changed a string). Anyway, here is the vid.

^ So... would anyone like to tab that out? I'd do it myself, but Frank's fat fingers are in the way.

Has anyone tabbed out the chords for I Am Disappeared.

I know the opening/verse is C, and there's a G in the chords but I can't get the low chord before it or the last bit

Just tabbed out "If Ever I Stray."

It's basically G - C - D - Am - C over and over with some hammer one and pull offs.

When Frank yells "one two three four" you play a D and then go into a more rocking G chord and then back into the same progression.

The only really different part is the "Throw me in the water" after the second "One Two..." which I saw as D - 032030 - than 330033 (Frank's favorite chord I decided.) - Great video to get used to it with.

Sorry if this is already posted. Too lazy to go through this thread to search for it.

Signed up to add Imperfect Tense to the list. This is an acoustic version of the rock version, if that makes sense. Here is me playing it. Bear in mind that this video does not quite match up with the tab I've written (the end of the chorus is different, for example); the tab should be correct. Ish.

Code: Select all

Tabbed by Ben Forbes - 24/1/11

Ai      = 002220
Aii     = 577655

Bb5     = x13331
Bm      = 224432
*Bm* = 224432 / 004432 - lifting off index finger periodically - listen to song
C5      = x3555x (C power chord)
D       = xx0232
D/C#    = x40232
E       = 022100

Somewhere in the city

Three days not sleeping, not eating, not feeling good anymore
            Aii                 E
Drenched in sweat and self-pity now, it's not a pretty sight

Gii        Aii         *Bm*
   What to say in my defence,
Gii  Aii           *Bm*

Used to have such balance, but I don't know where it went
Em7             A(7)
   So won't you be my present sense

Bm                                             Gii

Off this murderous medication
Bm                                         Gii             Aii
Trying to remember, my reasons for running myself into the ground
With such dedication

Gii        Aii         *Bm*
   What to say in my defence,
Gii  Aii           *Bm*
   I was imperfect tense
Gii               Aii            D          D/C#     Bm
Used to have such balance, but I don't know where it went
Em7             A(7)
   So won't you be my present

C5        Bm
Bb5       A(7)

    Bm   Ai  Gi    F#m  A
Cos it's not meant to be
D D/C# Bm   Ai Gi
I am   lost at sea
   Gi G/F#  Em   D  A(7)
So mermaids sing to me

Of the better times and the things that can be
Like the diamonds in the Mediterranean sea
Or the beatings and sleeping and times that I took
And of washing the drink and the drugs from my blood
         Em                A(7)
And I've nothing to say in my defence
    Em               A(7)
I'm far from perfect I'm still tense
     Em                A(7)
They say that love can change you once
       Em                A(7)
Please say that love can change me once
Come on change me

Anyone had a crack at I Am Disappeared yet? Have got a little bit of it done that I might post later but most of it is throwing me off. I'm pretty shit though.
