Christ, it's been a long time since I've checked this thread, should have figured there'd be more tabs after POTD was released... I'll try and get around to putting some of these on the first page soon.
I started with The Real Damage, cause I'm that scene. Ballad and Try This At Home are also good ones to start with (the latter in particular because you can just bash the chords without much accuracy and still have it sound okay - aggressive strumming being one of my few if only guitar talents).

Infairness, those chords are different to the ones that Frank plays, I'm pretty sure...random_128 wrote:http://tinyurl.com/3abw7x9Mario wrote:Barbara Allen anyone?

yeah probably... perhaps i was a bit harsh. but hey, it's a traditional song, which to me means there's tons of fun to be had in trying to play it in your own way. alasdair roberts is doing a version of it on his latest album IIRC.

I got bored over the weekend and I think I pretty much figured it out.
It all starts on a G note and you're ascending the bass note through G-A-B-C.
Like so:
That's for the first part:
You and I could have a rock n' roll romance,
we could fuck in our clothes,
we could sleep in our pants,
I will crash at yours and you will crash at mine
and we would stay in bed 99% of the given time
Leave this loveless lonely behind
'cause you've been searching up and down and all around
and there’s no nice boys in London town
I can sympathise cause I've been searching too,
yet to find a girl half as good as you
When you get to the end of 'half as good as you' it goes into a D and then D with a C# bass note and then G for the 'just not paying attention' part.
Then the 'cheating the world part' is kind of A, B, G on the bass notes with the same fingering for the higher notes as the verse. And I play the 'not really fair on us all' part just like the verses but it ascends quickly to a D and then finishes on a G.
I don't know if anyone else wants to have a play with this.
I suck at tabbing!

Trying to work out the new short one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t17hsikON8Q), it looked so simple even I could work it out! However, of course, not so....
I'm up to:
g/d/g,g/d/c,d,g/?/?,g/d? Something like that. If someone who can actually play could fill me in that'd be great

The bits you missed are G/B7/Em at the quick '...Freddy Mercury' and '... at least i fucking tried' bits (think its a B7, i play it 021200) and Em/D/C when he sings 'not everyone was born to be a king' and '...mum and dad had dreamed' parts. Think the rest is easy to see.Tomasz wrote:Trying to work out the new short one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t17hsikON8Q), it looked so simple even I could work it out!
