These things circulate within the industry I believe, but I would imagine they are also subject to change.

Watergirl wrote:Just saw that there is quite a bit of scheduling information on the Clashfinder site. None of it cast in stone I guess, but it couldn't be purely guess work either. They show Frank on the Other Stage from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the Saturday. Would have preferred Pyramid or John Peel but hey, can't have it all… Good that it's a full hour.
It now shows him from 19.10 to 20.10 so if Meonfest closes at 23:00 and he plays a one hour set then he is on stage at 22.00 He has just under 2.50 hours to get from stage to stage.

The journey takes about 2.15 with no traffic.

I'm guessing that he has a helicopter. :)

Saw that. Excellent. Hope they'll bring their guitars to the chat.

Edit - see now that it's the 'Radical roundup'. That should include some songs!

As it gets closer to Glastonbury I am getting sadder that I am not going.

You'll forget all about Glastonbury when the new baby arrives!

The poster seems to suggest solo…
Is going to be a mad dash for me from Frank on the Other Stage to the Waterboys on the Pyramid to Frank + Billy at Leftfield. Born to run….!
Beans On Toast has a good slot at 20:00 on Thursday.

Awesome news!! Just made my summer! Well, until the new album tour dates are announced :)
Managed to keep the news well hidden under his hat. No hints that he'd be playing Glasto (full set) this year.
The Other Stage is a pretty big deal too (although the least best stage on the farm). Headline Pyramid next year....

Any informed opinions on the following clash: The Who or Ryan Adams?
Have to confess I am new to Ryan Adams. I have been listening to 'Live at Carnegie Hall' which is quite wonderful.
I have seen the Who a few years ago. Love their songs and I'd imagine there would be quite a sense of occasion. What to do…?

I'd go with The Who. You might not get another chance. Or they could be doing The Who hits 60 tour in ten years, you never really know. My husband and son just saw them in NYC last weekend and had a lovely time.

Ryan Adams is superb (but I'll be seeing the chemical brothers). The who will be a dull nostalgia act going through the motions... probably.

I was trying to narrow down my options - not the opposite.
I do like the Chemical Brothers. Still undecided...
