Live Album/Third Three Years.

Post by BrianMKroodsma » Mon Jan 27, 2014 9:07 pm

Hey Frank.
You and the Sleeping Souls are one of the best live bands out there, and I was wondering if you ever thought of recording a live album some day. I would definitely buy it.

Also, 2014 is upon us, so can we be expecting a Third Three Years compilation coming out this year?

Cheers

Elsewise I suspect the howls of outrage would cause your inbox to go 'splody.

The past three years have been so explosive, I can't see how a single album could contain it all! Might be the right time for a "double album" type thing. Covers, B-sides, special releases and live performances. I think it could work!
shows? 90 so far...

Strictly speaking, both the Three Years albums could be counted as double in the biblical sense, as there are over 20 tracks. If The Second Three Years were to get a vinyl release, it would have to be a double as The First... also is.

Just to be pedantic.

or - just save it all up and do the first 10 years :)
a frank turner box set extravaganza ...

my only concern with the 33Y album is that 6 of the tracks will be the TDH extras ... which takes up a lot of the space for other things
06 06.3 08.8
07 04.4 11.5 17.5 08.6 10.11
08 28.3 21.04 13.6 06.7 06.9
09 11.1 06.2 21.4 10.10 29.10
10 23.3 16.7 12.12
11 12.2 12.5 30.5 27.11
12 13.4 28.11 28.12x2
13 10.1 24.6 11.7 12.7
14 12.2 13.2 14.9 17.12
15 29.1 02.2 13.8 7.11

You are assuming that these will all be included.

The EKMB bonus tracks were on 2nd 3 years so it's a fair assumption.

I bet Who's Got A Match will be on it as Frank appears to love releasing it.

To assume makes an ass of you and me.

Innit.
