Hey Frank,

Given the criminal lack of recognition The Weakerthans have had in this country have you ever considered asking them to tour UK with you?

I have asked them a number of times. Hasn't worked out as yet.
Shows? All of em.

Oh hell yes! I think my life would be complete if this ever happened!
So if ever a man should ask you for your business or your name, tell him to go and fuck himself and tell his friends to do the same.

I always thought your lyrics were as England-specific as theirs are Canada-specific.

Awesome cover. If Frank can't get a duo bill with them, maybe he can twist their collective arm to get them to release "Virtute III". Our heroine is cold, hungry, half-earless and living in a garage. Oh the horror! How will it end? I must know. Threaten the curling-loving ones for scrapping them for The Hold Steady. I'm sure they'll cave. And then book The Hold Steady, too. Tramps like us and we like tramps!
Relax. This won't hurt.
