Show for Shelter 18th December query

Post by bluefashionmusic » Fri Nov 29, 2013 8:43 pm

Received the email today saying I had the opportunity to purchase tickets for this show but when I clicked the link to buy it is showing as sold out - any idea if it is still going to be possible to get tickets?

Anyone else experienced this problem?

Thanks!

Yep, had this too. Checked with the ticket agency and it seems the tickets were sold on a first come, first served basis to those who received the email, and they obviously sent out more emails than there were available tickets . . .

Completely understand the need for a ballot-style approach, but I really wish they'd worded the email better, as it read very much as though the tickets were yours as long as you purchased them within 24 hours. Finding out I still couldn't get any tickets despite receiving a "Congratulations!" email was a bit like being shown the speedboat you could have won on 'Bullseye' . . . so cruel!!

Bit gutting as I was very keen to go - as you said the email probably should have been worded a bit better as I got the email whilst at work on Friday assuming I would be fine to wait until I got home to buy the tickets as it said I had 24 hours to do so!

Yeah, me too!

I'm in London from Sunday through to the Wednesday so hoping I can pop along to see Frank at his location.

There was an announcement stating that details would be revealed nearer the time so fingers crossed...
