Video Games

Hi Frank, hope your back is feeling better! I noticed in your Instagram photo with the get well soon ballon a PS3 box in the corner. Is it your flat mate's system, or are there some games you enjoy playing when not on the road?

Actually I got given that recently by someone at Sony (perks of the job). Plugged it in and got bored in about 20 minutes. Not really my thing (which is a bit weird as I used to game a fair bit when I was younger). So I'm giving it to a friend's kid.
Shows? All of em.

That is the ultimate gift for a kid!! :D Yeah, games nowadays are nothing compared to the awesomeness that was Super Mario Kart.

The N64 version of that game is probably the greatest game ever made ... IMO

Another stalkerish question based on the same instergram picture.

I have the same map hanging up in my fluffy kitten. Did you consider purchasing the huge and expensive Ikea world map before settling for this £3.99 alternative? Like I did.

It is definitely the best one out of the series. Rainbow Road was imposssible for me to drive without falling off every 10 seconds! :P

Mario Kart on the SNES was pretty good too.

We should have a tournament on the Wii someday for anyone who has one.

I'd be up for that - but haven't set up the wii for about 2 years. I should one day.

And after the races we can duke it out in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

You cheap bastard, wait a few months and give him a PS4. He's gonna hate you otherwise. :D

I'd say that is a tad harsh. Yes, the PS4 will be out for the holiday season, but it isn't backwards compatible. There are still plenty of great games to be played on the PS3 & they are still releasing games for it.

Are girls allowed? If so, I call Yoshi. And then can we play Goldeneye? Either wii or n64, I am untouchable in both ;) ho ho ho

Goldeneye for the Wii is good fun, pretty much the N64 game with improved graphics and some new features. But being of the fairer sex, my first person shooting skills are not marksman quality. Donkey Kong Country Returns is worth a purchase!

Goldeneye on the wii would be good too. I haven't managed to play the multiplayer cos my brother played it constantly for 3 months and has a major unfair advantage over me so I refuse to play him.

Sorry for my obvious gender ignorance as to who was posting things. I blame not knowing where I am ;) and I agree with everything ^^^^ DKCR is goddamn addicting, they should warn about that on the box!
