Re: REM Cover
i have often thought about Frank covering REM - But not that song .... was thinking something older would work well.

Re: REM Cover
Agree, however with the way his music is evolving I thought this would suit the new format.marowak wrote:i have often thought about Frank covering REM - But not that song .... was thinking something older would work well.

Re: REM Cover
Bit of a cliche R.E.M. song, but now that you mention it, that could be quite interesting to hear. (Sometimes the obvious choice isn't a bad thing, after all)Watergirl wrote:Good suggestion.

Re: REM Cover
I was thinking something of Murmur or Reckoning

Re: REM Cover
I'd love to hear Frank cover a Warren Zevon song.... possibly Reconsider Me. He'd probably have a lot of fun with Werewolves of London or Excitable Boy, too.

Re: REM Cover
since this is kinda turning a "songs that frank should cover" thread...
not sure how third eye blind is perceived in the UK and the rest of the world, but in the US they often get miscategorized as a 90's "one hit wonder" type of band, but they actually write some pretty awesome songs.
the song "motorcycle drive by" would sound awesome if frank covered it,and it has awesome lyrics.
