Music You Inspired

Frank, I have written and recorded (good production quality, don’t worry) a song that is directly inspired by you. That said, I feel a great (perhaps strange) need to have you hear it. Would that be possible?

Cool. Here it is: http://edtangmusic.bandcamp.com/track/vaya

The story and events are my own, but I was specifically inspired by the struggle against getting older that I saw was an undertone of your Love Ire & Song album. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you, and to let you know that like the artists that inspired you to write and create, you are now doing the same for others.
Thank you, Cheers, and Enjoy.

Can't wait for the new album!

That's pretty good man. Nice Ragan vibe to it and all sounds very well produced; not what I was expecting at all (in a nice way)!

Hey everyone,
not sure if you still follow this thread, Frank, but I also have a song directly inspired by you that I'd love you to hear. Tom Waits once said that the only reasons we become musicians is that we all have this defect that made us kneel in front of our jukeboxes, praying to Ray Charles and Jerry Lee Lewis... well.. first time I heard 'I still believe', I knew I also had to write a song about it. We met after your show in Hamburg w/ the Dropkicks and you told me that I should call it referencing instead of stealing... well... I did. Haha... Maybe you like the song! Travel safe and see you soon! : ) John

Ed, this is Ace. Also listened to your other music. Fits right in with my love for Frank Turner, Jimmy Buffett and traveling. :)
