Is there any chance Frank is playing at Glastonbury festival next year?

the line up is not usually announced until after May and artists are not allowed to say one way or another ....

my personal view is they would be fools not to book him for 2013 ....

Yeah I know it isn't released 'till later on but I was hoping he might drop a cheeky hint as several artists do.

I agree with you though ... It would be amazing

If I was Michael Eavis.......
I would put Frank on with band on the Pyramid stage during the day. Means it will be on the TV as well.
And then a headline gig on another night - either with band in the John Peel tent or solo in the acoustic tent. Or all of the above.
One year the Waterboys played three times: Pyramid, Avalon and Acoustic. The shows were all different. I literally had a field day!

Beans On Toast played something silly like 9 times last time round (2011), and Frank played 3 times in 2010, including an alleged very drunken strummerville set!

So he can play more than one, i'd of expected a JPT headline slot if i'm being honest!

Ah the talk of Glastonbury 2010 brings back happy memories of seeing Frank twice including the amusing Strummerville set. It was only afterwards that I realised that I'd missed Franks other performance ... whilst I was probably wandering through the fields catching bits and pieces of other entertainment.

I won't be there next year as I have some money to be saving, but for those of you with tickets, I really hope Frank is added to the line up this time around.
Kingston - 680, SBE - 730, Union Chapel - 770, Kingston 10 - 772, Glastonbury 2010 (Queens Head - 870 / Strummerville - 871), Roundhouse (iTunes 2010) - 881, Strummerville - 1000, Kingston 11 - 1031.

I don't know if it's anything to go on but I met Michael Eavis at the Bath gig so he's definitely seen him live recently...

Doubtful that either Mr Eavis or Turner would discuss contracts. Outside of the whole "I want you at my festival this year" Eavis has booking managers...dozens of them, for that sort. Ditto with Frank.

That said, I wouldn't put it past Mr Eavis to mention wanting Frank to headline and that his people will be onto Franks people.
I'd rather be the one who loves than to be loved and never even know.
