Sooo... The guys supporting you at what's likely your biggest solo gig to date; carefully picked. Not all of us will be familiar with every act.
If you were introducing the uninitiated what would be your pre-Wembley playlist? Which 3 songs from each artist will get my fist pumping & yelling along come April 13th? Or if that's too narrow recommend an album...
For what it's worth mine would be
Beans On Toast
- The Price Of Rice
- Don't Believe The Bullshit
- Blowjob for the blues
Scroobius Pip & Dan Le Sac - no clue
Billy Bragg
- Waiting For The Great Leap Foward
- Sexuality
- New Englànd

Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip I only have one album called 'Angles' that is worth checking out. 'Thou Shalt Always Kill' being the most recognisable track off it. However my favourite 3 songs are:
*Fixed
*Tommy C
*Back From Hell

The only one whose albums I know really really well are Beans' songs. But just to be true to his Myspace name I'd have to recommend one about Sex, one about Drugs and one about Politics so;
Junkfood Sex,
MDMAmazing,
Don't Believe the Bullshit.
An Honourable mention goes to The day the dance music died and Blowjob for the Blues and the Bonus Track on his latest album, those songs get me up dancing no matter where I am.
I'd rather be the one who loves than to be loved and never even know.

Beans on Toast: Fancy Dress Frisbee, Dirty Paki, Eggs Benedict
dan le sac VS Scroobius Pip: Thou Shalt Always Kill, The Beat That My Heart Skipped, Angles
Billy Bragg: The Saturday Boy, St. Swithin's Day, Walk Away Renee
I'd have struggled given five songs to play with, so three was bloody difficult

Walk Away Renee really? It's a great song & how I got into Billy (on the Q Mellow Gold compilation) but his best? Doesn't really fit the criteria of fist pumping neither!
In unrelated news that Q Mellow Gold CD really was
amazing.

Yeah, I kinda ignored the fist pumping bit! But I did go with three tracks for each band/artist that would be a reasonable intro their work and should be more than enough for someone to decide whether to investigate their work further or plan a trip to the bar
As for Walk Away Renee, I can't listen to it without smiling so it got the nod. The lyrics do an awful lot for me

Bragg's version of Walk Away Renee is one of my favourites. Great lyrics, and Johnny Marr's guitar is beautiful.
