Noah and the Whale
Recently I've been introduced to the band Noah and the Whale and I instantly became quite attached to them since a lot of the themes in their songs reminded me of you. Anyway, as they are also English and are somewhat similar musically I was curious as to if you were aware of their existence and what you thought of them.
Re: Noah and the Whale
i'm aware of them, sure, they're pretty big here in the UK. don't think i've met them directly, though we have mutual friends. i think they're pretty good, not my favourite band, but not bad.
Shows? All of em.

Re: Noah and the Whale
I loved how their intro music at Leeds Fest last year was an instrumental version of Bohemian Rhapsody that had the crowd singing along and they couldn't start playing til we'd finished singing. They have some great songs but most of them are a bit dull.
Re: Noah and the Whale
I'm actually really enjoying their second and third albums, but their first is a bit too peppy for my taste.
