Loudon Wainwright - Liner Notes

Hi Frank, curious to know if you (or anyone else on here) have read Loudon Wainwright's recent autobiography, Liner Notes? It's every bit as candid as his songs and, to be honest, he doesn't come out of it looking too good, but it's fascinating to read about his life and the stories behind the songs. I'd always assumed there was a degree of artistic embellishment to his lyrics, but nope - it turns out the lines that make you wince really did go down exactly as he sings them. It's a great (if mildly disturbing) read.

I have not but it's on my (inadvisably long) reading list.
