show 2000
is there been any news about show 2000? I tend to limit my shows to one per tour so I can afford to see multiple artists - but I'd love to see this one if I possibly can!

Including the newly announced London show Portsmouth will be show 1997. So three more shows to be announced? Cornwall not been added yet, so that's one...

Re: show 2000
Hmm, if there's a Boston show and one in Cornwall to add to the mix, that'd make the Portsmouth show #1999 (I can hear the Prince cover now). So I reckon show #2000 will be in the UK and this side of Christmas.
The suspense is killing me! (And am I the only one already experiencing twangs of Ticket Buying Anxiety? I missed Show #1000 due to holidays - I can't allow this to happen again . . . )

Re: show 2000
He has gone back on that, and said it is not going to be Portsmouth (on Twitter).

I do like that idea of the "1999" cover….

Re: show 2000
Lazy NME journalism, based purely on the current gig list maybe? We can hope.
Re: show 2000
It is incorrect anyway, as he has already played three London shows this yearrandomcamden wrote:Lazy NME journalism, based purely on the current gig list maybe? We can hope.

I dunno, I quite like the idea of show 2000 not being in London (though I've little doubt it will be)randomcamden wrote:Lazy NME journalism, based purely on the current gig list maybe? We can hope.

Re: show 2000
A hometown gig in Winchester could be an option, especially if Show #1999 ends up being in Portsmouth?
Which, if I'm being selfish, would be great for me as it's local . . . but unless the council is secretly planning to build Winchester Arena in the next three months, it could also see my Ticket Buying Anxiety rocketing to expert level
