I've just realised i've booked Gallery standing ticket for the RAH gig, is it miles from the stage ? I'm not looking to swap or anything i just think i should have looked at the seating plan first !

It's not horrendous though. Just high. Sight lines are not too bad, but it's a free for all so get there early.

Idlewild, fuck yes. :D

Everyone's in for a singalong to "El Capitan", right? Cool.

Must admit I'm pleased with that. Will be good to see them after so many years.

Will Varley has been added now as well, which is nice.

Quite looking forward to this show, although somewhat concerned about the stamina of our daughter. I reckon the clocks going forward have actually done us a favour though, so with a bit of luck it will all be hunky dory. But either way - WE'RE IN A BOX!!!

Will Varley is the perfect addition to the line up - can't wait to see him in such a fantastic venue. And am I the only one quietly hoping for a rendition of 'Balthazar' tonight? I know the RAH isn't quite a music hall, but it would seem like a lovely place to hear that song.

Very excited for tonight. The only downside is having to drive up there from the South Coast, courtesy of the useless Sunday train timetable . . . but at least it allows us to practise our singalongs ready for later :D

Still reeling from how incredible last night was. Five hours of driving (including a joyous run-in with a drunk driver), aching limbs and no voice left this morning, but totally worth it. The supports were awesome - and so excited for Will Varley joining XMR - and a truly phenomenal set from Frank and the Souls. Balthazar was breathtakingly perfect.

Of course I now have withdrawal symptoms at the thought of not seeing them again until festival season (Glastonbury, Schmastonbury - I'm holding out for Meonfest. Come on, got to be worth a try, right??)

fantastic night as usual, perfect playlist, got home about 1:30 still buzzing had to be up at silly oclock for work but wouldn't have missed it for the world, be interested to find out why they were filming it as it wasn't for the big screen on the night

That was a very enjoyable evening. Eva Mae was so impressed with her AAA pass, she is still wearing it. She wore it to bed in fact.

TCT filmed all the shows I believe. They usually have highlights online after the event.

I'm rather gutted I missed last night. The photos of the night and the set list look great.
