Reading & Leeds Festival

Post by Blonde » Tue Feb 24, 2015 7:19 pm

Frank has been announced for Reading on the Sunday and Leeds on the Friday to headline the Festival Republic stage. Its a solo set too.

Anyone going? Day tickets are cheaper this year, but the line up for that day so far is pretty poor compared to the other days. So I'll have to wait and see.

Only missed one Reading festival in the last 10 years, so after taking a break from it last year I will probably be going. I've been before when I've not known many bands, but never has there been so many that I dislike! At least there's decent/better bands playing on other stages at the same time as the main stage headliners.

Who the fuck is Kendrick Lamar?
How the fuck are Bring me the Horizon second headlining on the main stage?
The fucking Libertines man... have a band ever lived more of reputation and less off songs in history?

Still... I'm there

Sex pistols? Libertines didn't work as second headliners on the main stage, they won't work as headliners. They need to be in a hot sweaty tent to make any sense, they're just lost on the big stage.

Sex Pistols are a fair shout. Knew there would be a few out there.

The difference being that the Sex Pistols did one incredible album. Those songs are all absolute classics and still sound good today. The Libertines wrote half a good album, and the rest is toss.
