Not the most scenic places in England I fear, but I like travelling anywhere really.
If anyone reading this is from any of these towns and has 'must see' tips, please let me know!
Hull has the Humber Bridge. That's as exciting as it gets.

Bridlington isn't too far from Hull, a train trip to there for the day would be better.

I have to agree with Blonde, get out to the coast, Brid and especially Filey are lovely. Hull is one of my least favourite places in the world. But The Deep is quite good, apparently.

I have never complained about the size of the venue, nor would I. And for the record I live nowhere near Northampton, I live 50 miles away. Surely it's ok to be happy to have secure a ticket to see Frank play again ....wherever it happens to be. I have never seen Frank in my home town, it is unlikely that I ever will .....so what. Last year I went to Luxembourg and I have every intention to go abroad again, I fancy seeing Frank in Germany, is that ok or is it wrong that I may deny a German citizen of a ticket lol.

Either way it is not my intention to gloat about a ticket in a big venue or a small venue, near home or away from home. I would like to wish everyone well in securing a ticket on Friday ....and yes I will be at the bar at both Northampton and Leicester.

Incidentally Frank if you fancy a Coventry show ..........only joking :D

Part of what gets my goat, and I know it's redundant in some ways, is the whole "waaa you never play in..." (insert town name). 9 times out of 10, I've played there 15 times in the last 10 years, people just missed it. Grr.
Shows? All of em.

Thanks for the "tips" on Hull.
It only struck me now what a contrast this is. Last time I went to Budapest and Prague. This time Warrington, Hull, Wakefield. A bit less glamorous.
Never mind. I am going with great friends and it is the promise of new songs that really makes me look forward to these gigs.

Have you ever considered doing a totally obscure towns and villages tour?

I've got three FT gigs within 40-50 miles of my house (Bath, Yeovil & Salisbury)...i'm as happy as Larry (if Larry lived in Radstock and liked FT).

Got tickets for Warrington and Hull. Can't go to more because of work.
I've been to Bath and Salisbury some years ago on a class trip and liked those cities. Would love to go there again.
But I'm happy to attend 2 shows. Hull was also "part" of the class trip. left the fairy there. First time driving on the "wrong" side of the street. Can't remember more.
I hate this place but i love these chords
