Less than thrilled that googling this unfamiliar phrase led to many images of these. Some were less than pleasant. My eyes actually hurt.

Please accept my humble apologies for mentioning these lycra based monstrosities, particularly for inflicting optic nerve damage to you Darlenet, I personally blame Koo Koo Kanga Roo for transporting me back to my teenage years in the 1980's when we all wore bum bags (Fanny Packs) and it was actually cool for men to wear those 'that shall not be named' swimming garments.
Also apologies to Blonde who had a Mr Motivator flash back.
...and finally please don't Google to find out why the UK would never call them fanny packs I beg you.

When I was camping in France a few years back there was a swimming pool on site.

I was just about to jump in wearing my swimming shorts and the life guard stopped me and said non.

He pointed at another man wearing very small trunks and said I had to wear them.

It was hot and I wanted to swim so I went to the local supermarket and purchased a black pair of trunks.

I hated and still hate wearing them but still own them.

You never know when a pair of smugglers will come in handy!

Hmmm good point. I think we'll call it a draw.

Hey Rubber Soul, did you and your friends have a good time at the festival? FT & SS were brilliant as always, I loved Beans on toast, he just makes me smile and chortle every time I see him. What were the bands like for the rest of the weekend?
