What did people think then? Have fun? I enjoyed Frightened Rabbit and Crazy Arm. The Oxygen Thief, RSP, Marwood triple threat on Thursday was my highlight.

The festival just gets better and better, as far as the music goes, the usual suspects for me, so Joe Summers, Cadbury's, and Boat to Row were nice to see and familiar faces.... The new layout works brilliantly, I was worried the Axiom might be too close to The Cave, but it seemed to work pretty well. The new stage in the Forest is amazing, and making what used to be the Greenhouse so much bigger meant we could see what was going on! So, props to whoever had a hand in that... and the weather was great too!

Highlights: Andy Oliveri with the full band was great at the Croft, St Pierre Snake Invasion, Band of Skulls and the Bronx... Such a good show!

Disappointed that JL&tSS didn't perform I suppose, it's the first time they haven't played whilst I've been there, though from what I hear the band is going in a different direction and having now heard the new single, I can't wait to catch them in Bristol next month!

Jim Lockey did a solo set according to his twitter, did you catch that? Where and when are they in Bristol?

No, I didn't hear about it and got there too late...

Apparently, they're playing in The Exchange on 6th August, but as Solemn Sun, with a completely new set? So far though I can't find anything about tickets. Though I did find this: http://vimeo.com/99731911 which is a pretty good teaser! :D

Matt, from The Exchange, tells me it's free entry... Old Blue Last in London on the 7th too.

This year completely blew last year out of the water. Highlights for me Marwood, Frightened Rabbit, The Bronx, Crazy Arm, Dad Rocks and Maybeshewill in that order.

I had a fab time last weekend. My highlights were Retrospective Soundtrack Players and Marwood on Thursday. As well as The St Pierre Snake Invasion, The Bronx, Nordic Giants and the chaotic set from Baby Godzilla, that involved the band pushing a bin into the middle of the pit and telling people to get in and make the world's smallest mosh pit on Friday. My Saturday highlights were The JB Conspiracy, Tall Ships, Public Service Broadcasting and Addistock sets from Quiet Quiet Band and Felix Hagan, who I enjoyed far more than when he supported in Hatfield last year.

Awesome weekend with some excellent people, highlights included Ben, Barry and RSP on Thursday, various people I'd never heard of but ducked in to see and enjoyed, the Addistock stages and Jim's solo set, hidden away at Room number 7, which was pretty special - looking forward to hearing more new stuff from Solumn Sun.

I only went to see these because they're my initials (and that seemed as good a reason as any...) and actually really enjoyed the set :D

Forgot to put Jim Lockey's solo set in amongst the trees on my list! It was nice to see the JL&TSS songs for the last time in a special setting. Even if Jim kept on forgetting the words!

Did he give a reason for dropping the songs?

They have decided to start again with brand new songs as The Solemn Sun so it isn't a front man and backing band anymore.

Damn shame they are dropping Atlases songs. Still there is always the CD.
