I feel like an arse for always just posting words, then leaving, so sorry.

But anyway, here's my review of 2000 trees, with plenty of your favourites mentioned. http://justdip.co.uk/2014/07/15/a-revie ... rees-2014/

Out of the 22 bands you saw we only saw 2 the same (Ben Marwood & Frightened Rabbit). I go for the more folky stuff each year, which just goes to show the variety of the festival.

My review will be up in my magazine at the end of the month but I will say that this being my fifth time at 2000 Trees, the Crazy Arm set with Emily Barker in the Croft on Saturday night was one of the best I've ever seen. Did anyone else watch it?

Wolf Alice, Dad Rocks, Sam Green and the Midnight Heist (wow. just wow), Lonely Tourist, Maybeshewill and Band of Skulls were brilliant. Blood Red Shoes were much, much better than when I last saw them live earlier in the year as well.

I forgot to post some 2000 Trees related articles from my free online magazine 'BEHIND THE SCENE GLOUCESTERSHIRE.'

Here's a link to some old photos from some of the earlier years (features Jim Lockey & The Solemn Sun, Subways etc)

http://issuu.com/gloszine/docs/btsg9/40

Then here's a link to a review of this year's festival (features Ben Marwood, Oxygen Thief, Retrospective Soundtrack Players, Crazy Arm etc)

http://issuu.com/gloszine/docs/issue10/28

Have a reminisce.
