Warm up show at Hatfield Forum?

Post by sarahg » Mon Jul 29, 2013 5:38 pm

Hi!
Just seem that ft & ss are doing a warm up show on 22nd August at the Hatfield Forum.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow. The event organiser advises disabled peeps to contact the venue direct, but the University is on summer break....have emailed, but not sure if they will answer or be available if I ring tomorrow.
Has anyone got any ideas? Am panicking as this will be my best chance to see them play for the first time, and I am new to gigs as a disabled person.
Wise words much appreciated.

Your best bet is to try for tickets and contact them after.

I think it's a real shame that they don't include anything about disabled access or seating on the website. It seems strange these days not to have the info.

guessing they would want you to contact them so they can advise on what you need to do or where to go before you arrive, like going to the front of the queue etc.
The Kentish Town Forum for example has an area they set up on the day, so could also be a reason why they ask you to contact them, so they know to set out an area.
However I do think you will be accommodated, so as Blonde has suggested, try for the tickets first and then sort out the details. :)

What I would dearly like to know is how much the gig is going to be?
I hate it when ticket links give you all the information bar the price.
So frustrating

the maximum of 8 tickets per transaction seems a bit high for a warm up show

thanks Helen

Thanks guys, much appreciated! Am guessing phoning the 0844 number is the best way to book....but hope it will give an online option too, as I think my husband will do his pieces if I run up a massive phone bill :(

you know there is an edit button ;)

for anyone in two minds, trains from London run frequently and stop at 00:15, direct to Kings Cross and only 35 mins
