Apart from the weather. That was better at every festival that wasn't 2000 Trees last year.

Is anyone going to Frightened Rabbit at Brixton in November? Struggling with the fact that I have to wait that long.

Yes! I stood on the steps next to the sound desk at The Forum in February, a new to me band I'd only just seen in a pop up gallery in Soho & bought Pedestrian Verse, & was blown away.

I'm more than a little obsessed with Nitrous Gas & Oil Slick off of PV. The fact his accent is so strong and beautiful in oil slick has me melting (ironic given the subject of the song!). I'm tempted to do T in the Park just to see them. Maybe extreme, though.

I am going to see The Front Bottoms, Turner and Half Man Half Biscuit next week. This signifies the busiest period of gig activity I have had for quite some time. HMHB is clearly going to be the best of them.

If I get into Nottingham early enough on Sunday for Hit The Deck then I'll see Front Bottoms. Even if I don't make it in time for them, I'll still get to see Oxygen Thief and Jonah Matranga amongst others.

The gig was frigging awesome, those boys do know how to put on a show, but fuck me is that place a ball ache to get out of or what? For what's supposed to be an international standard stadium the transport infrastructure is abysmal.
