Hahaha...that's brilliant. I cannot believe they left the merch and guitar behind.

The only report from yesterday I have is "Crazy shit". I am very excited about Reading.
it was a mix
the people right at the front were going for it but quite spaced out at the back and therefore people were standing but there was a good vibe in there
I was stood right at the back with a massive grin on my face from start to finish despite feeling like shit but London does look like it was nuts

I was jumping about at Leeds, depressing when I turned to the back to see people stood still, but could understand why. It was incredibly warm in that room and the 'pit' was very rough

I was getting battered around at the front of the Leeds Packhorse gig and it certainly didn't feel tame to me. Frank was leaping all over the crowd, I repeatedly took kicks to the head from crowd surfers and Ben had to keep telling people to back the fuck up because the front row were getting thrown into his drum kit.

Incredible gig all round.

Incredible gig all round.
we were enjoying ourselves even if we weren't getting kicked in the head
I would be out of my depth in a pit like that to be honest but would have liked to have been able to bounce around at the back a bit more
unfortunate I have been ill all week and was pretty much struggling to be there as it was
which makes it more gutting to realise there won't be any further Mongol gigs for a while

now I would just like to own the tracks so I can relive

Don't know if anyone else was at the lock up stage at Leeds Friday but I saw Mongal Horde there and didn't see the need for a new topic it was fantastic, probably put it on par with The Cure for overall enjoyment, didn't really go nuts because it was early and I was with friends who don't really do the pits (and from the sound of it I wouldn't do them either) but when a full tour comes around I'll be straight on to it.
The Territorial Pissings cover was fantastic too, didn't expect that.

Best Mongol Horde review I overheard at Reading was when one disappointed girl turned to another disappointed girl and said "well, at least he took his shirt off".
