Ticket - £18.00
Booking fee - £3.00
Transaction fee - £5.25

This equates to total fees of £8.25 which is near enough half the face value of the ticket again. I know this is beyond Frank's control and it happens with all musicians but seriously, extra fees being added to tickets are becoming a complete and utter fucking joke. I don't think I'll be buying a ticket or going to this tour now, I can't really justify the expense.

Just wait and buy one at face from someone selling before

Go to the venue box office in person and buy it if you can, thus skipping all the middle man bullshit.

Not always an option for people to go to the box office - location / work etc. Guess that's just life.

Don't really understand why people are complaining about the cost circa £20 isn't bad all in really, if you look at some other prices.

Also with regards to buying them closer to the time - I also include the fees when selling at 'face'. Maybe I'm going wrong but the idea is always to get the money I paid for back - the least I would expect if not trying to make any on them

The fees are indeed ridiculous on most sites and I'm sure ticketmaster charged me over £5 on postage the other day. I see it as a necessary evil - you can try and shop around, some sites are better than others, but at the end of the day, these tickets are incredibly good value (other tickets I've bought have been over £60 starting value) and just over £20 for an evenings entertainment aint bad! I too would add the fees on if I was selling my tx. I remember the days when the only place you could buy tickets was at the box office, or continuously re-dailing on the phone, or I even once bought concert tickets at a travel agents...so sitting in front of my laptop in the warm and clicking a couple of buttons is a luxury that I'll happily pay £5 for - but the price does seem to be rising almost daily at the moment :(

Yeah the days of that engaged tone - I do not miss! Remember trying for about 6 hours once, the worse part was that you'd never know if the gig had sold out so you had to keep trying. Then when I got through the only tickets left were at Cardiff (I lived in Norfolk at the time - Long way).

Seems to me that sites have got their act together of late - haven't really had a problem getting tickets for anything (touch wood), when even in the early days of the internet, sites were are real nightmare. So if my £5 is going to stopping their servers from crashing I'm happy.

Right - End of old man, wasn't like that in my day chat!

The Brighton tickets are currently 'unavailable' - they can't have sold out already can they?
