My oney is on an 11 o clock curfew. Whether Frank runs to curfew is another story, but considering the bill I think it likely

Hi folks,

my friend and I are coming down for the gig in April and can't bloody wait! This'll be my 7th or 8th time seeing Frank and I'm mega excited! Just looking for some advice around the best area to stay in London for a couple of days, we'll be down on the friday early afternoon so needing somewhere friday and saturday night. Hostels are generally better for us as I'm just looking for a cheap bed for the night! We'll probably be looking to go out somewhere on the saturday so anywhere with good pubs/clubs would be best. Thanks for any help!

Also, for the gig, are there pubs nearby the venue?

Hi,
just trying to book my tickets and just wondering if anyone really knows how long it will go on for? Have to be at work back home down south in the morning so can't stay over, and the latest coach home is 11:30 from Victoria, is this makable? :/ I'm so excited! :D

edit: Just read a post very similar to mine about it probably ending by 11, is half an hour enough time to get back to Victoria? It's not really like I have a choice, but I was just wondering if it would be possible? I'm not very good at London :(

If you had a taxi booked outside the venue ready for you to jump into at 11, and the driver was prepared to step on it, you might just make it to Victoria station by 11:30pm.

No chance on public transport: even if you ran to Wembley Park station and didn't have to fight your way past thousands of other people to get on a tube, and were very lucky with connections, you're still looking at 40 minutes.

Awh no! :( That sucks, really cannot afford a taxi, so I guess my only option would be to leave early. Damn living on an Island :(

I know theres a pub called The Torch in the opposite direction to the venue (but its not that far). If you go out the left hand side exit at the tube station (as opposed to the exit that looks straight at the stadium) and go left, its down that road on the opposite side.

I always thought Wembley Arena had a 10.30 curfew, but I've only been there a handful of times over the last few years, so I might be wrong, I would call the venue to check. I decided to get a hotel as it's such a schlepp back from Wembley to home, expensive night out, but 100% worth it for the worry-free evening :)

Wembley Stadium is 10:30. Wembley Arena is 11:00.

Is anyone heading from the continent? If so, how are you getting there? One of my friends just persuaded me to go with a spare ticket of his but the problem is I'm currently in France!

I really need to stop reading this thread. Every time I do I think oh it would be cool to see frank on a huge stage on my 26th b-day. And then I remember I live on the other side of a big ocean :(

Ask for a plane ticket for your birthday?

I think I'm looking forward to meeting up with everyone more than the actual gig.

I'd rather be the one who loves than to be loved and never even know.
