The wonderful Dave Hause playing? "I am doing one enormously huge show with FT in England"

I saw Dave Hause on the Revival tour in October and he was really entertaining. I see Joey Cape is heading to over to Europe for some shows beginning on April 14th, so this might make him a possibility.

Could be miles off but thought I'd predict the line-up for the show as I believe (hope) Frank might be releasing details this week.

I'm going for 2 stages showing alternate acts, maybe something like this...

Main Stage

Frank Turner
Dropkick Murphys (wishful thinking)
Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip
Crazy Arm

Side Acoustic Stage

Billy Bragg
Joey Cape
Dave Hause
Jim Lockey & the Solumn Sun

Feel free to give opinions or post your own predictions.

I think Billy Bragg is more likely to play the main stage than the side acoustic stage.

If Jim Lockey & the Solumn Sun my day will be complete.

If Frank is just helping promote some of his Xtra mile buddies I will be delighted. Ben, Sophie, Jim and Frank. Life made.

Seeing Crazy Arm again would be awesome!

Yeah, I was thinking Billy Bragg on mainstage but he could play directly before Frank on the side stage.

Would be really good to see Crazy Arm again and i think Jim Lockey could be quite likely with Frank mentioning their upcoming album a lot as of late.

I was thinking their might be one more 'big' act to announce, and seeing as Frank is touring the states with them i went for Dropkicks...after seeing Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip were announced my guesses could be a mile off though.

I reckon there is more chance of Queen with Freddie Mercury supporting than the Dropkicks.

you've probably got a good point, but i would have never have thought Against Me! would support, and Frank is now a lot bigger in the UK than DKM

Yes, but the difference with Against Me being that it was for a tour, which means they have a greater period of time to recoup the cost of coming over. For a one off show, to ship in a 7 piece band and their crew from America, put them up, and pay them...tickets would be twice the price and the lightshow would probably be a couple of dozen friends holding torches.

When you put it like that it makes a lot more sense. Well hopefully Frank will end the suspense sooner rather than later.

I never really considered the economics are putting on a show until I tried to do it myself. Outraged at ever increasing ticket prices I attempted to start up my own promotions company, with the tagline of "ethical promotions". But when it all boiled down to it, to do what I wanted to do would involve paying the artists considerably less than they would get elsewhere, and also considerably less than they could probably afford. They only way I could have made it work was if i owned my own venue, or indeed got a venue for free. Consequently it never got going, and I have managed for the most part to forgive outrageous ticket prices.

yeah, I must admit I may be being a little naive thinking like that, I understand why ticket prices keep increasing, obviously artists are selling fewer records resulting in live shows and merchandise being the best way to make an income. But yes, I'm not clued up on the economics of putting an event/show like this on.

Talking of ticket prices, has anyone received their tickets yet? I've just realised that mine are being delivered to my parents address (where all my bank stuff is still registered. Why ticket sellers don't let you ship to a different address like most other online retailers still bothers me) and my parents are away for pretty much the whole of April. Here's hoping they arrive in good time to be forwarded on to me.
