Trying to book hotels for the London Hammersmith gig. Someone mentioned a few pages back that Battersea Travel Lodge is quite close to here. Does anyone know how close it is? I want to book it now because they are doing £19 rooms.
Ugh Gigs & Tours still haven't emailed me back.

Apparently its very easy to get a night bus from Hammersmith back to Battersea

Yep, very easy, 295 takes you from Hammersmith bus depot (opposite gig) through Fulham and across Wandsworth Bridge, once you cross Wandsworth Bridge the bus turns left, within about 30 seconds you'll see it on your left

I managed to get the right Hammersmith tickets, yay!
Now to find people who want to come with (buying tickets hoping they will = I have more leverage) and figuring out if I can actually go/get home/or need to Travelodge it. And hoping I don't get given a 9:30 seminar Monday morning...

Thanks for the help on getting to the hotel. Me and my friend were stressing on how much a taxi would cost and such, and how far it would be. Booked the hotel now and it came to £25, which is very good compared to the prices of the other hotels nearby (around £100). I can relax and look forward to the gig now that is sorted.
Just gotta see if SeeTickets/Gigs and tours will refund me on the other ticket i brought in panic, because they didn't word things correctly.

So despite being very late in the day on this, I still managed to get standing tickets-happy days. After missing out on the Kingston gig, due to stupid work, will be glad to finally see him again after what will be far too long!

usually, as long as he's with an over 18 year old (or looks like it) it should be okay

According to the venue's website, 14s and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) and must be in the seated area. I have no idea if they actually enforce that though.

hmm thats a bit worrying....im 18 so no problems with regards to that. i guess if worst comes to worst ill try to swap my standing tickets with someone who is seated...would really rather stand though if possible. should probably call the venue i guess...

They do enforce this. Hammersmith Apollo is quite strict.

Gigs and tours finally got back to me about the how i ended up buying two tickets for the Hammersmith gig. They said they will be refunding me the more expensive ticket.
Happy about the support acts being announced. Can't wait for November now!

Rather excited about finally getting to see against me! Last 2 times I've had tickets the gig got cancelled.

Emily Barker & Red Clay is a brilliant choice also. Seriously looking forward to this now
