Yes I think so, a few of us (Blonde, Nellied and me) are coming down together. We get into London about 2:30 and meeting others at some point, so should be around for pre-gig drinks... And owling, obviously. :D

Frank normally comes on stage around 9/915 if I remember correctly. Been far too long since I saw frank :(

god I really hope frank plays linoleum today. unlikely, judging by recent setlists. but possible.

also I really hope he doesn't play sons of liberty.

did last night - his 'bad guitar solo' spiel has been ditched in favour of it being played on violin by one of the Red Clay Halo. Is it a violin on the record? Haven't heard it for so long, rarely listen to POTD as it's my least favourite album. Sons is probably my favourite song on it though.

How do people feel about the larger venues? I can't help feeling that something is lost...

I can see where you're comming from. I saw Frank for the New Years Eve gig at Darlington & couldn't help think that the small venue kind of made the night.

I got pretty close last night though & the atmosphere was deffinatley still there, On the other hand it wasn't long since I saw Frank at the Playhouse in Whitley Bay which was quite a compact venue & still had the chance to get right to the front & meet & chat to the majority of the band afterwards so I think he is still making the effort to be accessible as an artist.

I have paid for two , but they were 'miss advertised' and I was given two circle seated tickets instead!

Text,Call or email me if you are willing to SELL 2 standing tickets, or SWAP for two sitting tickets!

London was great. Really really enjoyed myself, as did the others I went with. The confetti canons were supreme.

thought Frank at Hammersmith was brilliant, however it seems my Hammersmith curse still lingers as I can never fully engage at that venue.
fun times owling outside after but really gutted I couldnt make Manchester in the end due to me being an idiot, think I would have enjoyed it a little more

also bucked a trend amongst the owling crew as I loved Against Me
reminded me of Stiff Little Fingers and I love SLF

really looking forward to Wembley now and wishing for another gig to tide me over in the mean time

Would like to give a big fuck you to the cunt who stole my phone. Seriously dampened what was a good evening.

Was a few other people who also had their phones stolen tonight, seems to be a growing problem thesedays.

That really sucks. Never happened to me at a gig (purely out of luck I guess, I'm not overly secure or anything) but if it did I'd be fucking livid. I'm hearing about this happening increasingly, I'm definitely going to be more careful.

Really enjoyed Manchester. Emily Barker and co were lovely.

As far as the 'larger venues' thing goes, I kind of sensed that at first but once they got going they really filled out the room. Of course we singing helped too. I thought it was quite brave of him to play the reworking of Father's Day and the new one early on. I'd like to think that Manchester is generally thought of as a good crowd, plus we seem to sell out first. The new ones sound promising.

Highlights were Somebody To Love and Photosynthesis was the best i've ever heard it. Totally refreshed it for me now.

Hammersmith was fucking amazing, I was right up in the back in the seats and judging by how good it was up there I cant imagine how awesome it must have been in the standing section.
Just brilliant.

Ive just packed my son off to school after we got in at 1am this morning, poor fecker is going to have a looong day.
