Mine? I am smelling a flower while discussing the finer points of being awesome with Frank.Pete wrote:What the fuck is going on in your profile pic?!

Are you seriously asking me about details from Lexapalooza? I have no idea. Frank had it on his mic stand during his set I believe, but I only know that as I saw pictures. This was beyond the point at which I remember much.Pete wrote:Ha, of course. It's Frank's face that baffled me, looks like genuine wonderment at you smelling the flower... Also, why did you have a flower?

6 if you include Million Dead...Tomasz wrote:VIP camping is bloody brilliant.
This will mean Frank's played five years in a row, anyone played more? The same?!

Completely agree with you there, really put me off going back again after going 3 years in a row.Pete wrote:I've never been as frightened at a festival as I was there in 2009.
My friend has a theory that Reading goes in cycles of becoming popular with people who actually want to go for the music then because its popular, twats who just go to break stuff and act like bellends start to go too. This then puts off people who go for the music and its becomes less popular so the twats also stop going meaning that people who go for the music start to go again and so on an so forth.
This seems to be happening now as this year is definitely less popular, as was last year, then previous years. Before there was a mad rush and this year you can buy tickets the day after they go on sale.

I went in 1995, 1999, 2000, then every year from 2004 to 2009. As I understand it the last two or three were really bad for riots etc - part of the reason we moved to camping in white area was to get away from that shit - didn't want or understand it when I was that age and don't want it now.
Didn't go last year for two main reasons - the aforementioned irritating little cunts and the terrible line up. Not going this year for the same reasons, although this years line up is a bit better.

I think some of them got burnt to many times, when I last went in 2009 on the Friday morning before any music had began I bought a full weekend ticket from a tout outside for £90 for my sister. As i hate touts I enjoyed the fact that he must of lost out about £100Tomasz wrote:I thought touts bought all the tickets every year so normal people couldn't?
