Sunday at Leeds hasn't got much worth sticking around for - apart from Jimmy Eat World, but we'll see what else gets added.

About time Frank hit the main stage - last year at leeds it was daft, a lot of people couldn't get anywhere near the inside of the tent. I'm looking forward to "i'm defintly going to hell" echoing around Bramham park.

I'm rather stoked about Henry Rollins on the alternative bill too.

But i'll look for my weekend ticket a lot nearer the time. Wonder if Frank will be having any 'warm-up' shows before like last year, hopefully one of them will be up north again, I loved Kendal more than the leeds gig the next day.

I usually judge a festival line up by the number of bands I would watch that I haven't seen before. So far on this line up there are 4 - Jane's Addiction, The Joy Formidable, The Vaccines and Tim Minchin. And while I would otherwise rarely pass on a chance to see Frank or Henry Rollins, it's just not worth it any more.

People used to say Leeds was full of irritating little cunts, Reading has gone the same way in the last couple of years.

Or maybe I'm just getting too old for this shit...

Reading has always been full of irritating little cunts. You are just older now and can see it more.

Naaaaa. I've been going since 1993 or something, and there has always but always been legions of utter twats. I think the audience has certainly got younger, but no more annoying than they were. That said, this Sunday night riot business is bullshit.

When was the last time you camped in the normal camping area though?

I went and camped almost every year in the exact same field from 1997 to 2009 and there was a massive change over time. It went from kids smoking lots of weed and being obnoxious to kids hoofing loads of ketamin and setting fire to / breaking absolutely everything they see. I've not got more scared as I've got older, in fact my friends who I go with, and I, have got much bigger and more confident, yet I've never been as frightened at a festival as I was there in 2009.

I recall in the early 2000s that we were without doubt the loudest, most annoying people in the area and we had a fair number of complaints from people as we were up all night with loud music and my voice booming about the place, but we never ever set fire to random people's tents or attacked security guards!

No. I have only been in the VIP camping 4 or 5 times. I dont always go for the weekend...or indeed go at all.
