I'm going to see Greg Holden play at Rockwood Music Hall on Thursday.

Then a week later, I'm going to be playing my first american gig there. I'm looking for a bit of help promoting this show, so if you have NY friends, please pass this 'flyer' on to them.

Have put out the feelers for a few other cities, but still waiting to hear back on them.

I saw Caitlin Rose in Whelans last night. Lovely voice, accomplished band, nice peddle steel, interesting choice of covers, venue packed. Can't pinpoint anything that was wrong with it and yet I found it a bit dull.

RANCID last night!!! Opened with Roots Radicals and closed with Ruby Soho. And in between close to 30 songs. No loss of energy between songs. They still have got it! Made a lame, but wise decision to stay out of the pit.

Was going to go to this since it was only an hour from where I'm staying, but in the end we walked so much around Manhattan that we were bushed.

I feel you sister. I have those urges and I always get to the edge and then go, um...hold on, no, that's a bad idea. ;)

Great timing! I'm planning my FEST schedule, and I had a gap available, so I will definitely go see PJ Bond (with full band) there and Mark McCabe the day before. Thanks for the advice.
